I ran into a song this week, C’est la Vie, by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, that I somehow missed in the earlier days of my life, the main verse of which I might slightly rearrange to make a quatrain,

In the night, do you light a lover’s fire?
Do the embers still glow of your desire?
Like the sea, there’s a love too deep to show;
If you don’t tell me then how will I know?

and so here is a video, with that song, with the images being from my forthcoming ‘The Theory of Everything Rubaiyat’.
